Jessica Dawson Invited to Lead Workshop at San Diego Marketing Summit

I’m excited to announce that I’ve been invited to present a workshop at the National Association for Small Business Digital Marketing’s upcoming City Summit in San Diego! The conference will be held on April 15th, 2016, and promises to be a full day of workshops, speakers, panels, and networking events for small business professionals in the San Diego area.

In order to help small business owners learn how a book can be part of a strategic marketing plan, I’ll be leading a workshop called “Publish, Position, Promote: How a Book Can Be a Unique and Powerful Marketing Tool.” Many business owners have aspirations to become authors, but few actually follow through with it. My goal is to help San Diego business owners see that they not only have stories worth telling, but also that a book can help them market their businesses and position them as experts in their industries.

This event will be a great opportunity to meet and network with other local business owners while learning a ton about digital marketing. I’m honored to be able to share how what we do at Maven fits into a business’s marketing strategy, and I’m excited to hear about other ways businesses are maximizing their marketing efforts. If you’re in the San Diego area, I’d love to see you there!

To register for the summit, or to find more information about the National Association for Small Business Digital Marketing, visit their website. If you’re unable to attend the event but are interested in how a book could help your business, contact Maven today! Let’s discuss how we can share your story and bring fresh attention to your business. We partner with small business owners and professionals in San Diego and around the U.S.
